Interior: Black interiors with matching seat covers, steering cover, AC vents and mats. Analog speedometer with Digital trip and mileage readings. You can record up to two trips simultaneously. It gives both spontaneous and average mileage readings. Interior lamp has usual three switching modes - on, off and auto. It has inbuilt music player with FM, USB and CD modes. All four windows are power windows with master controls on the driver side. The car has a central lock with doors equipped with child lock option. I have driven the car up to 140 Kmph and it ran smoothly without any vibrations. The cabin is noise proof and you can enjoy a peaceful ride. The car has boot and fuel tank lids below the driver's seat and you don't need to get down for such small tasks. The rear seat has enough space for 3 people. As compared to small cars like Alto, Celerio, Eon, Wagon R, i10, three people can sit more comfortably in Swift. Even it can accommodate 4 in the case of emergencies. The seats are adjustable in both ways - inclination and foot space. The doors have speed sensing lock.   Exterior: The car has body coloured bumpers and door handles. It has ORVMs, which you can set manually without opening the window. The car has plastic wheel covers which give premium look. It has tubeless tyres with the life of over 50,000 km. You don't need to worry about punctures while driving outskirts and in the night time. Look wise I always liked my car. Only concern has always been the ground clearance. It has ground clearance of 170mm which is equal to that of i20, but less than that of a hatchback like Nano, KWID, and Punto, I always drive carefully while riding over road bumps and speed breakers.   Engine performance and gear box : I feel diesel engine is more powerful and gives better pick up than petrol engines. I had taken my car on various hilly trips and I never felt short it's short of power while driving uphill. You can adjust headlight beam up and down according to the slope. The mileage is superb. However, the company claims up to 26 kmpl, I have successfully got 21 Kmpl from my swift VDI. I get it serviced once in 6six months or at every 10,000 Kms whichever comes earlier.   Maruti's sales after service is awesome. I am quite satisfied with all kind of services, be it car servicing, insurance renewals or accidental claims. If given a chance to reconsider my car buying option, I will again go for Swift.   If you want options like ABS, airbags and rear wiper, you can go for ZDI or ZXI variants. For Swift and other Maruti's traditional cars, LXI, VXI and ZXI are petrol variants; and LDI, VDI and ZDI are diesel variants.
