Mahindra XUV500
We have driven our Mahindra XUV500 for more than 2,00,000 Kilometres. XUV is completely brilliant till 1,70,000 kilometers and then we have to spend almost Rs.65,000 to replace the AC compressor since it was damaged and also minor service was done at the same cost. No engine repair till now and we are always happy to drive it. Pros: Way it handles on the highways, engine pickup that 140bhp of power is available on tap after 1500 RPM. Chilling AC, acres of space in 1st and 2nd row, though 3rd is cramped but doesn't matter since 95% of the time we don't use it. Cons: Rattles and rattling badly after 1,50,000 kilometers. Comfort wise it is not as good as Innova but handling is far ahead especially on the highways. Overall happy with the XUV though off late service cost increased dramatically. Bouncy Ride especially over Bad Patches of the road.
