Jeep Compass Attractive SUV That Misses Some Key Features
I started following all the updates on this small SUV the moment it was announced for the Indian market. The key reason behind purchasing this car was the attractive design with which I fell in love at the first sight. And since it is a Jeep product, I wasn't caring much about the build quality and the driving experience. The ride and handling of the Jeep Compass certainly make it a true blue SUV, especially the high-speed stability and the way suspension gulps the potholes is beyond words. But honestly, this SUV is not perfect. The car is not spacious given its size. It also lacks some key features that should have been integrated by Jeep such as sunroof, auto headlights, cruise control and rain sensing wipers. So in my opinion, Jeep should address these issues asap since parent company Fiat does not have a good reputation in terms of sales and services. Although Jeep is giving 2 years/unlimited kms warranty on the car to encourage the buyers, still a lot more effort is needed from the company to turn the tables to its side.

- It Feels GoodPerfect for any lifestyle. It gives comfort space and feels good. Maintenance cost is low millage is avg just take it. My brother took it for me and till date I feel good in driving it. U will get respect and everything wherever you will go so take it for you family friends. - Worst VehicleI purchased the new Jeep in 2019. Upon driving the car, Initially, the clutch got malfunctioned at a vehicle run of approx 2000 kms. Now again at a KMs run of 12500, it again burnt. I am very disappointed and shocked by what happened and I find the situation very irritating. New cars simply don't do that. While I do understand that manufacturing errors can happen, still I can't comprehend the fact that the car was not tested before handover. Also, twice it happens. - Low Quality Parts Used In The CarIn Dec'19 I had purchased Jeep Compass limited plus petrol version, within few months driving seat panel got out, given 3 time replacement but still same issue is there no improvement at all. At the time of 6 month free checkup they have not told there is any issue in the car but at the time of one year servicing, now they are saying there is issue in the battery which need to be replaced. unfortunately i gave car after completion of one year for servicing so they are saying you will not get the battery free, you have to pay for it. Don't know what kind of 3 year warranty they are telling us. Also, they told me there is an issue with ABS sensor which we will replace under warranty. Now my question is such type of issues are coming in just one year? What is the value of the brand? Don't know whether they are doing proper testing or not. Most noticeable thing is, almost all Jeep customers are facing same type of issue but still no proper solution support from Jeep instead they are asking money for the part nothing else.Read More14 2

- Repeated Clutch Failure Not Covered Under WarrantyI bought the vehicle in 2018 April. Driven 35k km. Clutch changed twice not covered under warranty. Even Jeep accepts that their clutch is not durable. So if you are ready to pay for a clutch every 20000 km you can buy it. Another issue I had was fuel line leaks with 25000 km. Couldn't find a solution by Jeep. Changed entire assembly. Cost 1.6 lakh, fortunately under warranty. Battery life lost only for a year again with 15000 km. So it's going to be repeated problem giving vehicle and ready to spend a lot more money if you are buying Jeep compass.Read More5 1
