Excellent Car In The Mid Range Segment - Hyundai Venue

I purchased Hyundai Venue SX(o) Diesel in Sep. I have driven more than 5000 KMs. It is one of the best compact SUV cars in the market. I used to get an average of 25 KM/L if I drive 70 to 80 speed and 22 KM/L if I drive 120 speed. I have driven max speed of 150KM/h (Kanyakumari highway) and it was very smooth and I feel comfortable in that speed. Also, I have climbed Valpaarai hills and the pick up is good and 2nd gear it has given superb performance. Moreover, the indication(which you can see in the odometer) for the right gear suggestion at the right speed give you smooth driving and excellent mileage. I don't think other makes have this option, they may have only gear shift indicator not the right gear shift suggestion indication when you drive in wrong gear according to the speed. Since the engine has 90bhp you cannot expect a sudden pickup and while overtaking another vehicle it can easily pick up very fast when you reduce the speed, again it depends on the driving person's capability to make the performance. The interior is excellent and it gives you more comfort when you go for city drive or highways. Of course, the exterior is excellent and gives a royal look. I love the bluelink software which is really helpful especially when you are far away from your car. The engine performance is awesome compared to other makes. There is no noise inside the cabin and driving comfort is really good. The cornering headlight option is excellent while you drive in the dark night. Last but not least, Again the performance depends on the person who drives the car either Maruti 800 or Mercedes Benz. Overall my experience is excellent with Venue is great in terms of performance, mileage, safety features, driving comfort, etc.. if you are looking for safety drive, good mileage(Diesel variant) and comfortable driving you can very well go for Venue. It is more value for your money.
