I recently saw the images of the new Hyundai Santro and feel that it is an excellent addition by the company?s hatchback segment. Post its launch buyers would have an additional option to choose between the Celerio, Tiago, and Kwid. Out of the three, I find the new Santro more attractive to look at, however, in other matters it seems that its rivals have pushed back it a little. Take, for example, the Tata Tiago it is available in two engine options - 1199 cc and 1047 cc. Both are producing more power and torque then Sentro?s 1086 cc four-cylinder mill. Also, Santro?s fuel economy figures, as claimed by the company are lowest in the discussed group, resting at 20.3 kmpl.
