Hyundai will introduce six brand-new EVs to India over the course of the following five years, starting with the Ioniq 5. The Ioniq 5, scheduled for a mid-2022 launch, will serve as the company's 'top-down' entry point into India. The Ioniq 5 won't be inexpensive, though. Despite being an EV, it won't receive any reductions in customs duties when it is introduced as an import. Depending on the battery size and other specifications, which have not yet been determined, we predict that the Ioniq 5 will cost between Rs 45 lakh and Rs 60 lakh.
