Can move into 8' wide lanes with its power steering .What problem with wheel size. Please do reply as I have booked one .Also Driver visibility is OK as the seat seems to be low. Thanks

There is nothing wrong with the wheel size. I meant it is one of the best features of Brio. There is no problem with the current height of the seat at all. But it would be better if there was up & down adjustment of the driver's seat. Its an excellent car. Go for it!

The Honda Brio has a tyre specs of 175/65 R14 82T

What about the Road clearance whether its adequate ,

    paresh dawda |25 Jan,2012 01:57:18 PM

It is sufficient for city roads and highways also.

    CarDekho Team |25 Jan,2012 02:32:01 PM

The Honda Brio has a ground clearance of 165mm which is good enough to drive over speed breakers and bad roads alike.

  • himanshu |25 Jan,2012 02:10:37 PM

I have heard about the mileage which is approx 10 kmpl. Is it right? What you are getting from your car? olease reply.

    paresh dawda |25 Jan,2012 09:18:36 PM

I use my Honda City car and Brio is for my wife. Frankly speaking I have not checked the mileage. We have kept Brio as city car.

    Sayanatn |11 Mar,2012 10:09:00 AM

I have just booked my SMT version but not before I could confirm(from 3 users) it gives you 14.5-15 kmpl(after 1st service)in city and 16-17 kmpl on highways (ALL with A/C)...

  • vivek pangre |25 Jan,2012 02:28:21 PM

I too heard that the mileage is approx 10 -11 , can you please confirm the same

    CarDekho Team |25 Jan,2012 02:30:47 PM

The Honda Brio uses the same Jazz 1.2liter iVtec engine and in our test run returned with an overall fuel efficiency of 12kmpl which involved a mix of city and highway runs.

  • vivek pangre |25 Jan,2012 02:33:01 PM

So in that case in same price i get a swift desire with an mileage of 12 -13 kmpl .

    paresh dawda |25 Jan,2012 09:27:36 PM

Driving Brio is a fun. Pl. do not compare Brio with funny looking car like Swift Desire.

    himanshu garg |26 Jan,2012 12:40:13 PM

It is very surprising that 1200 cc car is returning the mileage of 10kmpl. I think this car also not suitable for medium class families as per rate tag and efficiency concerned.

    paresh dawda |26 Jan,2012 01:27:55 PM

Mileage of car depends on driving habit. Big cars take more time to reach the destinations and it burns more fuel than a city car like Brio. You burn more fuel in search of parking for big cars. Performance of Honda cars are excellent, hence they do not need more maintenance and in long run these cars become affordable for middle class families also. Price of Brio starts from 4,12,000=00 with big wheels-more leg space-smooth running-driving comfort and mainly the peace of mind.

    Sayantan |11 Mar,2012 10:12:02 AM

mileage is obviously not at par with 800cc alto...but it would not give use less than 13 kmpl in city...

  • himanshu |26 Jan,2012 02:05:21 PM

Please if you can exactly tell me the figures of mileage than i will be convinced because I have made my mind for this car but due to this mileage response I am again in big stirr.

    paresh dawda |26 Jan,2012 02:28:33 PM

Take a test drive and reply me afterwards.

Dear Paresh Are you a employe of Honda

  • vivek pangre |27 Jan,2012 02:13:28 PM

Sorry sir it was not my intension and thanks for the clarification . But still you are not clearly clarifying us regarding the city mileage i mean the exact value , further the boot space in brio is also very less can you please let us know your thought

  • Harihar Behera |30 Jan,2012 02:11:38 AM

According to the features a very good car. pls. make a straight & honest clarification regarding city/highway mileage.

    CarDekho Team |25 May,2012 02:35:06 PM

Honda City Brio delivers a decent 14kmpl of mileage on city road conditions and upto 18 kmpl on highways. Regards & Thanks

  • Ravi |31 Jan,2012 03:34:12 PM

City Milage - 15 KMPL and Highway - 17 KMPL

  • Rahul |02 Apr,2012 08:11:18 PM

I own a Brio (V)....Last week I went to Shivpuri (25 - 30 kms from Rishikesh and 255 kms from Delhi - up and down was 610 kms) amazing ride quality...super smooth engine and very light steering...Lovely driving in hills... Got a fuel avg. of 17.5 km/lt in the whole trip..which includes approx. 60 kms of hilly area... Maintenance cost is also not too high as compared to Jazz or City.... very economical...
