Honda BR-V A Stylish and Practical 7-Seater SUV

The urban compact SUV segment in India is growing at a very fast pace. Honda BR-V is the first offering that gives you best of both the worlds i.e. practicality of an MPV and ruggedness of an SUV. It is the first compact SUV from the maker that shares the underpinnings with Mobilio, Amaze and Brio. The Honda BR-V has a pretty likable design. I recently test drove the vehicle at a dealership as I am interested in buying the one. I have a large family and small cars make the journeys quite troublesome. BR-V is the only car in its class to come with 7-seating capacity along with other comforts features for the passengers. Finally, after making some more research about the car and satisfying myself, I purchased the vehicle and now I am very happy with the compliant ride quality and how it neutrally handles the roads. Talking about the exteriors, Honda BR-V is based on the Brio platform and the front fa�ade gets bold dual chrome slat set on the background of honeycomb radiator grille. Headlamps are swept back that goes well with the two-party chrome radiator grille lending it an aggressive look. The side profile gets sharp character lines on the flanks that remind us of an MPV. Inside the cabin, the car has generous space offering, enough head, and legroom to the occupants. Other comfy features are push start/stop button, climate control, height adjustable driver seat, keyless entry, paddle shift and electrically adjustable rear view mirror. The spaciousness of this car can be understood by the fact that it offers up to 691 liters of boot space when the last row is unfolded. I have never felt this car as underpowered as the car sources its power from 1.5L petrol mill that produces 117bhp and peak torque of 145Nm. So, Honda has done a commendable job to keep up the competition. And with 7-seats on offer at a price range of Rs. 9.22 - 13.39 Lakh and brand like Honda, buyers with large families are sure to think for this.
