Engine Failure Before 60000 KM

I have bought a Beat diesel in Dec 2011. The vehicle was showing starting complaints after two years. I have complained this to the GM service but they neglected the complaint by saying some battery voltage problem was there. After 3 years the vehicle has completed 50000km. Now, the warranty was over and I purchased extended warranty for Rs. 4100/-. Last month the vehicle broke down and the mechanic from GM said it was due to engine failure and it is common for these series vehicles. So I gave the vehicle for checking the complaint. After checking the service people gave an estimate of 25000/- and I asked about the amount. They said that these are engine parts not covered by the warranty. This is not acceptable for a common man like me who have spent 500000 for purchasing the vehicle and before 60000 km the engine was gone and for maintaining I have to spent again 25000/-. So my humble request is do not chose CHEVROLET cars if your money has value.
