Mercedes Benz, the German automobile company and the world most popular luxury cars manufacturer has introduced the facelifted version of its Mercedes Benz E Class in the country. Launched at a starting price of Rs. 41.40 lakh (ex showroom price, New Delhi), the facelifted Mercedes Benz E Class is made available in two variants along with a Limited edition version. This vehicle is made available with two engine options, a petrol and a diesel. This Mercedes Benz E Class E200 CGI is the only variant available that has a petrol engine. This facelifted version comes with a set of major modifications in terms of its exteriors. However, the interior and its technicalities remain to be the same as its previous models, which is not something, you can cheer about. However, one should definitely consider the cosmetic updates given to its exteriors that makes it look one of the best looking car in its segment. The Mercedes Benz E Class series is already known for their elegance, style and luxury, which is now improved to a new level. The saloon cars in this series are also known for their effortless performance and power production that provides exceptional driving dynamics. On the other hand, this facelifted version retains the same with a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinders based petrol engine that can displace 1991cc . This facelifted Mercedes Benz E Class E200 CGI is placed in the luxury segment, where it will lock horns with the models of BMW, Audi and Volvo.
Exteriors :
The company has done a few major cosmetic upgrades to its exterior design to make it look more trendy and fascinating in its segment. Now the facelifted version looks extremely stylish compared to the previous Mercedes Benz E Class models. Its sophisticated body design is complimented by the cosmetic updates given to this saloon. The facelifted Mercedes Benz E Class E 200 CGI trim gets a modified radiator grille along with an improved headlamp cluster. Its bumper has also been redesigned to give it a sporty look. To start with its front fascia, the company has placed a classy radiator grille which comes in AVANTAGARDE design. The company logo has been positioned in the center of the grille while it has been garnished in chrome. In addition to it, there is a complete change in terms of its headlamp design that has been offered with two-headlights pattern instead of the regular four-headlights setup in the previous model. While the headlights have been incorporated with LED running lights making this facelifted version as the first in all its series to host LED headlights. There is a redesigned bumper fitted at the bottom of this saloon that includes large air ducts and a wide air dam that intakes air for engine cooling. Also, it features a chin spoiler that adds more sportier look to its front facade. When it comes to the side profile, it has got an extremely sleek and edgy body design along with body colored outside rear view mirrors with indicator blinkers and with a new styled door handles. The company has fitted a set of 17 inch, 5-spoke alloy wheels to the wheel arches of this saloon that gives a brand new look to this saloon . The company has changed the design of the tail lamp to make it look more elegant and rich. Its tail lamps have been designed with LED fiber-optic technology. The rear bumper design gets a re-treatment with twin chrome tipped exhausts and diffusers.

Most of the interiors of this facelifted premium saloon remain the same as its precursor. However, this saloon already comes with superior interior design that gives a pleasant and premium feel to the occupants inside. The interior cabin is extremely spacious as usual and can accommodate five passengers without any difficulty by providing roomy headroom, shoulder room and leg space. The company has used rich quality material for obtaining a premium finish inside.
