F-TYPE 2013-2020 Convertible R-Dynamic 2.0 Review

JLR, one of the iconic luxury car makers has launched the coupe version of its sports car model, Jaguar F Type. The company has introduced three new variants in this model series among which, the Jaguar F Type Coupe is the entry level trim. This particular variant is powered by a 3.0-litre, V6 petrol power plant that comes with a displacement capacity of 2999cc. This new variant has the ability to break the 100 Kmph speed barrier in just 5.3 seconds and it can reach up to 260 Kmph of maximum speed, which is remarkable. The company has built this particular trim on the same platform on which the F-type convertible was built. The car maker claims that its chassis is now 30 percent stiffer, which helps in adding to the safety quotient. The company is offering this trim with a number of advanced aspects, which include dynamic stability control, sport-shift selector with jet leather, sports suspension are just to name a few. This entry level coupe version roughly comes with all the features that are standard in the base convertible version. This variant also features an advanced 8-inch color touchscreen that supports navigation system and an advanced stereo unit as well.

 

Exteriors:

 

This newly introduced Jaguar F Type Coupe comes with almost similar body design and structure like that of its convertible version. To start with its front fascia, it comes with a large radiator grille with chrome surround that provides better air intake for engine cooling. The bonnet has a flat surface with integrated air intakes that gives a sleek and aerodynamic look to the frontage. The headlight cluster has a very sleek design and it comes incorporated with a bi-function HID xenon lighting with LED daytime running lights . What really is impressive about the frontage is its sporty bumper that comes fitted with a black colored chin guard. There are air ducts that further enhances the air intake and contributes for the enhancement of engine performance. The side profile of this sports coupe is very sleek unlike other vehicles of its segment. The window sill surround and the side air duct gets a lot of chrome treatment. The wheel arches of this trim comes fitted with 18-inch 'Vella' alloy wheels that gives a trendy look to the sides. The rear end is absolutely stunning, thanks to the sleekly designed taillight cluster and a sporty two tone bumper. On the whole, the company has managed to give this coupe a magnificent design, which will certainly attract the auto enthusiasts.

The Jaguar F Type Coupe is a two seater sports car that comes with a classy interior cabin. The company has blessed this trim with the Jaguar's super performance braking system that features a 380mm front and 376mm rear disc brakes. These brakes are accompanied with standard black calipers that receives the assistance from the open differential system, dynamic stability control system and electronic active differential system . On the other hand, the company is offering this coupe with sports suspension system that improves the stability of the vehicle and makes handling simpler.
