Chevrolet India is known for its superior technology based production of automobiles and is expanding its customer base ever since. It produced an uncompromising vehicle, that is named as Captiva and this series is offered in two variants in which a diesel engine is standard. This Chevrolet Captiva 2.2 MT 2WD is the entry level trim and has been bestowed with components that makes this a vehicle, which is packed with safety and comfort aspects as well as good looks too. To have the first impression over anything is its image and this is very well kept in the mind by the designers. They have given it all the elements that can be incorporated to make it look like one of its kind. It has a potential to generate a maximum power of 184bhp at 3800rpm and can produce a peak torque of 424Nm at 2000rpm. It is bestowed with a six-speed manual transmission gear box.

Braking and Handling:

It is equipped with an efficient suspension, wherein the front axle is fitted with McPherson strut that has twin tube gas pressure struts. Whereas the rear axle is fixed with multi link level ride with twin tube gas pressure strut. The front as well as the rear wheels are fitted with disc brakes, which is very good braking equipment.
