Z4 2013-2018 sDrive 35i Review
BMW is one of the highly acclaimed luxury car manufacturers in the world and it is doing quite well in the Indian car bazaar. BMW India has been teasing the Indian car enthusiasts with its Z4 Roadster model that was unveiled long back. Now the company has officially rolled out this model in the Indian auto market in a total of two variants out of which the BMW Z4 35i is the entry level trim. This updated version of Z4 comes with the same 3.0-litre twin turbo petrol plant under the hood that is skillfully mated to a 7-speed, double clutch, sports automatic transmission gearbox that further enhances the performance and power of the engine. It takes only 5.1 seconds for the vehicle to reach a speed mark of 100 Kmph, which is incredible. Technically there is no update given to this vehicle instead it received cosmetic updates in the form of a new radiator grille and a slightly tweaked headlight cluster. Apart from these rest of the design looks to be the same as the outgoing version. The appearance of this particular vehicle is incredibly stylish with a perfect combination of elegance and robustness. Coming to the inside cabin section, this particular sports car comes with high quality leather upholstery for the seats, dashboard, door trims and other parts of the vehicle as well.
Exteriors :
Coming to the exterior styling and appearance, this BMW Z4 35i is perhaps one of the most stylish roadsters available in the auto market. The exterior design of this vehicle comes with perfect blend of elegance and sportiness that turns the heads on the go. On its frontage, the stretched bonnet with along with the short over hangings are complimented by low seats. The ideal proportions of this roadster combined with its modish shape make it look alluring. The BMW signature kidney bean shaped grille at the front is in sync with the bold and sporty design bumper and sleek and aggressive headlight cluster. The wheel arches on the side profile have been fitted with the
18 inch stylish alloy wheels . The tail lights at the rear have been given a much sleeker look as compared to the front that adds to the pronouncing look of the rear. Interiors :
The interior cabin section of this new BMW Z4 35i looks to be classic yet urban in their own way. The interior design of this vehicle is complimented by the equipments and controls. This new BMW Z4 35i comes fitted with a 3.0-litre twin turbo petrol engine under its hood. This engine has a displacement capacity of
2979cc and it has the ability of producing a peak power output of 306bhp at the rate of 5800rpm that allows it to yield a maximum torque output of about 400Nm at the rate of 1300 to 5000rpm. The company has skillfully fitted this sophisticated engine with a highly advanced double clutch based 7-speed sports automatic transmission gearbox that delivers the torque to the rear wheels. This allows its to reach a top speed of 250 Kmph, while reaching the 100 Kmph speed barrier in just about 5.1 seconds from a standstill, which is rather good. On the other hand, the mileage figures produced by this roadster are not as impressive as its pickup and power. This particular vehicle can manage to deliver 7.16 Kmpl of mileage on the city roads, while delivering 10.37 Kmpl on the highways.
Braking and Handling :
This updated version of BMW Z4 35i is a performance oriented vehicle and its braking system is as incredible as its performance and its power. All the four wheels of this sophisticated four wheeler has been fitted with proficient ventilated disc brakes, which are accompanied by Anti-Lock Braking System,
Dynamic Brake Control and Dynamic Traction Control functions . Also the company has incorporated the Dynamic Stability Control function that improves the stability and safety of the vehicle when loss of steering wheel.

- BMW Z4 Sexy and Splendid RoadsterPicked up the car 18 months ago and I am still loving every moment of it. First I will outline a few negatives. I have the 18-inch wheels version and it seems quite rough to ride on. However, once you are accustomed, the driving will be a breeze, but be cautious of the bumpy roads. Handling, in my opinion, is fine but not perfect. Coming to the positives, the cabin provides the needed tranquillity of a convertible, no doubt about that. Though I was wondering to swap it from F-type, but change my mind since I read and watched several reviews before deciding to go for this roadster. The 3.0-litre turbocharger with 7-speed dual clutch automatic is polished and practical on road. I have also gone through reviews talking about boot space a lot and yes, with the roof up, you can have plenty of space. Overall, it's a great improvement over its predecessor. So if you want an urbane roadster of your dream, BMW Z4 won't disappoint you.Read More10 1

The Z4 is to drive slow and equally easy to drive frighteningly fast. It is always enjoyable. The mileage of Z4 is surprisingly good n I was not expecting that, it is giving around 16.3 on highway n 5.9kmpl in the city that means an average mileage of about 8.5kmpl. The handling of Z4 is so good, as the chassis is designed extremely excellent and it really knows how to handle the power. The braking of Z4 is also good and if I look for safety side, it has all the safety features included in it. If I talk about the interiors of the Z4, I have one word and that is Exclusive.
