Must read articles before buying BMW X5 2014-2019
BMWs have been as the ultimate driving machine, cars that you enjoy when you get behind the wheel. However, design hasn't be one of the biggest USPs of the Bavarian automaker. They have the standard kidney bean grille design that has been evolving since the 1970s, when the first 5 Series was launched. Things have slowly changed and the new F30 3 Series has been one of the most speculator looking sedans in its segment. This same design has been carried forward on the new X5, making it look chic.

- My Drive Experience With The BMW X5
BMW X5 is one of the finest and perfect pieces of engineered excellence. Looking into the price is not the criteria for how we should value a car. When I had an experience in X5 at first in my uncle's car actually it gave me a great feel and I also admired it a lot. The wow feature of this car is the pin drop silence while moving. Choosing the best kind of car has to be done from our self-driving experience. While comparing other cars in this segment, BMW X5 has its own unique features which gives great computing power. I would suggest this car for those who have a mind of excellence driving.Read More

- BMW X5 Mighty SUV Drenched in Luxury
BMW has always been my favorite luxury car brand. After introducing the high end luxury SUV car concept to the world 15 years back, BMW came with the all new model in the year 2014. This third generation model underwent revolutionary design changes inside and out. I was in dire need of a luxury SUV, I zeroed in for on the then newly launched X5, Freelander and Audi Q7. My requirement was to buy a rugged luxury SUV that can take me to long journeys of Himalayas with outstation trips every couple of months. So, I finally decided to go for BMW X5 for a whole lot of reasons. I already took the test drive several times and I will share what I loved the most about this car. First thing; the design, it is absolutely jaw dropping with aggressive front fascia which looked contemporary in every sense. The kidney shaped grille, LED headlamps and the 18-inch alloy wheels always makes the presence felt on the road. The ride and handling is very comfortable since I am writing this review after just coming back from Spiti in Himachal Pradesh. The inline 6-cylinder turbo diesel motor produces 258 PS and 560Nm of max torque which plasters a big smile on my face every time I get the car out for excursion. The engine comes paired to ZF 8-speed automatic transmission which can also be controlled by steering mounted paddle shifters. The love the way engine roars with a nice exhaust note. And you won't believe, the car manages fuel efficiency of about 15kmpl on highways if driven moderately under 1500 rpm. Riding on the smooth roads even at high speeds is quite agile. The electric steering is light on hands and the chassis works brilliantly in harmony with the new rear air suspension. Coming to the comfort level, the car comes with every creature comfort feature you can think of in this car such as 10.3 inch iDrive touchscreen infotainment, dual zone climate control, leather upholstery, power lumbar support, ambient lighting, foldable third row seat and chilled storage box among many others. The seats are all draped in leather which is surely a rich experience of owning such a car. The 5-star rating with multiple airbags is surely the bang for the buck. Overall, the car is wonderful SUV soaked in luxury and catches the attention wherever it goes. After driving it for over 6,000 kilometers I can say this is one of the brilliant cars that have come out of the stable of BMW.Read More
- BMW X5 Extra Sportiness, Extra Luxury
The X5 was built to be Merc's sportiest SUV and has been fairly popular in the Indian market. But the third generation X5 is certainly a refined package. The moment BMW took the wraps off the new X5 M Sport, I made up my mind to get one for me. Though I desired for a petrol version, but finally settled out with the diesel one. I was quite delighted to see how so many things have been changed for some good. The front poses the same signature kidney grille while I found muscular lines and sharp creases all over the body giving it a sporty appearance. The cabin exudes only luxury with the dashboard being the most user-friendly and within the reach of the driver, something that was missing in the previous X5. The new iDrive infotainment, largest sunroof and a massive boot space are all that you need for your long weekend drive. The 255bhp engine was already a hit but the new 8-speed automatic was rewarding that drags this 2.3-tonne SUV from 0-100kmph in just 7 seconds. I have always loved the way BMW delivers quality to its cars and the new X5 M Sport proves that it still has the guts to knockout contenders such as Audi Q7.Read More
