Auto makers to continue with production cut despite growth in sales
In the starting of recession period in last quarter of last year many auto makers announced their plans to cut down production because of dipping sales figure. But despite the increase in sales in the month of Feb 2009 no Auto maker reversed its plans of cutting down production. The future growth is not certain and because of that auto manufacturers are playing safe by continuing with their production cut plans. In Feb. 2009 the auto sector seen a growth of 8% to 10% compare to same period of last year.

According to market analysts the growth in the month of March will be flat and growth is expected to go down from month of April. New models like Hyundai i20, Mahindra Xylo and Fiat Linea helped the auto industry to grow at this rate in the month of Feb. 2009.
