Lexus NX 2017-2022 Specifications

NX is undoubtedly a winner in the tough competition. I was looking for an SUV with futuristic design, capacious room, powerful engine, and premium comfort. After having a test drive of NX 300h Luxury, Audi Q5, and BMW X3, I can say that Lexus NX 300h is the only SUV that ticks all the boxes in my checklist. However, it?s a little downrated by car experts. But, after driving it, I don't think if all those ratings are even valid. There are two things that I liked the most about this SUV, first is its seamless automatic transmission and the other is the interiors of NX. Also, the safety features that keep you guarded are appreciable. Apart from all this, NX being an SUV is bigger than other rivals. In the starting days, I faced a bit of difficulty while parking it, but thanks to the Park Assist system for providing me with precise guidance.

Lexus NX might be new for Indian roads. But, it's an SUV that you can go for with your both eyes blindfolded. NX is something that many people in India miss while purchasing a family SUV. I have taken the test drive of almost all the SUVs in the range, and I liked the hybrid performance of the Lexus NX. Notably, its peppy and responsive powertrain makes me go aww. NX is a perfect SUV for exploring adventures. Even on the poor Indian road conditions, it feels comfortable to ride in this SUV. I will prefer Lexus NX to the buyers who want peace of mind, without compromising with the performance or luxury. Notably, the cabin is loaded with high-grade intuitive, passenger comfort, and convenience features. That's something that any of us can trade when paying a lot of money.

It is a comfortable car with many advanced features on-board. The seats are supremely comfortable and come with foaming technology that keeps me in position all the time, even on bumpy roads. Also, the dimpled leather with the perforated finish on seats, steering, and gear knob look and feels amazing.

The rear seat is very spacious and offers ample legroom. This aspect is important to me as I am a tall fellow and most cars don't offer long journey comfort as the NX did. The seats are comfortable and find it perfect for long commutes. With the help of the switch, the rear seat can be reclined as well, adding to my comfort. Also, the full-size glass panoramic roof provides a sense of openness and allows light into the cabin.

There are many things when I think of the NX and how it has made commuting so much more comfortable. The rear seat heater, for instance, is a great help in winters, keeps the family cozy and comfortable. For me, the lumbar support and memory seat with 8-way adjustments comes in handy, especially during long journeys. Another helpful feature is the power tailgate that comes with a kick sensor.

As an owner of a luxury commuter, I expect it to deliver more than I expect and guess what, the Lexus NX offers exactly the same thing that I expected. With the similar-sized wheelbase as others in the segment, it provides better comfort, whether seated in the front or at the back. Cushioning is adequate, plushness can be felt as soon as you enter the cabin, the highlighter being its rear seat reclining feature. You don't feel that you are inside a lesser Lexus, absolutely no compromise on the finish, features, and comfort.
