Latest Update: Hyundai has announced that the Nexo, a fuel cell EV, will be on display at the 2023 Auto Expo.
Powertrain: It is powered by a 120kW motor (163PS/395Nm). The motor draws power from a fuel cell and battery combination with a combined capacity of 135kW.
Range: Hyundai’s fuel cell EV uses hydrogen fuel cells to power an electric motor. It has a range of over 600km on the WLTP test cycle in Europe. As per Hyundai, the Nexo could deliver over 1000km in India.
Features: The Nexo comes with heated and ventilated front seats, a sunroof, powered tailgate, a digital driver’s display, a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system (with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay), and wireless charging.
Safety: Hyundai offers the international-spec Nexo with adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, forward collision assistance, and park assist.
Rivals: If launched here, the Nexo won’t have any direct rivals in India.
