Honda WR-V 2020-2023 Maintenance Cost

One of the best cars, in this segment, but this is an underrated/unknown car as people rarely know this car that something of this sort exists, many people are of mob mentality, and go through advertising/Marketing. Safety rating: 4+ Space: more than any other cars (Mid-sized SUV) Trunk: Biggest in the industry Mileage: 27+ (Diesel - non-hybrid) Service Cost: 7-8K (4th year and 60K+ Kms driven) and no hardware failure Comfort: Driver's car CONS: Bought this car when no one was there in the market, so its music system feels outdated, but now a newer version has more features than this. and I cannot think of any CON as of now.

It was a great dream for me to buy a Honda Car, and this dream was made so beautiful because of the dealings from the service center, but it lasted only till I realized, the kind of trap that I was put in. However this does offer some pros and cons like every other machine Some pros: a) Decent Mileage- especially on highways with smooth driving, I do get a mileage of 16-18kmpl, in the city, it becomes 10-12kmpl b) Driving Comfort is much superb than most other brands in the country, especially the lack of engine sound inside the cabin, makes it wonderful However, the cons do overweigh the pros, and starting from the day 1, it has made me visit the service center more than 20times. Saying about the cons: The power is inadequate for a vehicle of this volume and weight, and this makes the drive uncomfortable at low speeds. Even after driving with the utmost care, some major parts also had to be replaced, for example, the fuel pump assembly, which cost me 14k. Once the deal was done, the approach from the showroom also changed, and this made me regret, the decision of owning a Honda Car. Coming to the maintenance part, during every service, we compulsorily have to opt for expensive oil, as the service center people are reluctant to provide semi-synthetic oils.

I have been driving this car for almost 1 and a half year now, I don't say its the best but its comfortable, sturdy and the feel is different from other vehicles like Maruti, Hyundai, Mahindra, Tata, NCAP safety ratings does not recommend this car, yet I've been hit from behind once by another car, twice by bikers, I'm telling you all these vehicles got serious damages, I still don't have to go for service.

Its service cost is too high compared to Suzuki cars, and its features are not satisfactory. The push start button is missing (2018 model).

I bought  WR-V in May 2021. Every 2000kms it's giving a problem in DPF. And poor service It's a problem vehicle.

The music system and digipak stopped working within 3.5 years. And service providers don't have any solution for it. They said that "it's not repaired you can buy new". This is a serious issue as they are delivering faulty products. Within 3 -3.5 years, I faced these types of serious issues. Further, the company suggests I purchase new music (worth approx Rs. 40K) for the 2018 model with the car. Now after spending 11lakh you have to drive the car without a music system. Guys seriously think before buying, not recommended at all.

Media player is worst than third class mobile phone. You cannot load any app and the inbuilt app does not work properly for navigation. No service center is having good knowledge about this media player.

Everything is Honda-ish, top-class engine and build quality. Mileage is excellent (23 overall) but the service costs are a bit more compared to other providers. Space is good, you can play a cricket game at the backside. Overall, WRV is feature-loaded and definitely a family car.
