Honda NSX review

Its raining cars from the Japanese automobile giant at the Indian Auto Expo 2014 held at New Delhi. The company has rolled out two new concept vehicles for the audience among which, there is a sports car christened as Honda NSX Concept. This is a high performance sports vehicle from the Japanese auto giant, but there are no details about when this vehicle will be officially launched in India. This latest concept version has a very wide, low and aerodynamic stance and it provides a super sports car feel. Its rear profile too comes with a slanting backward design that brings a sports coupe sort of a look to it. As per the news available with us, this NSX Concept version will be powered by a 6-cylinder petrol power plant, which is expected to be integrated with a direct fuel injection system that is already powering the company's Acura Sport Hybrid sedan. Hence, we can also assume that this concept version might be coming with the company's advanced Super Handling All Wheel Drive (SH AWD) system, which is a torque vectoring all-wheel drive system used mostly in the upcoming and prevalent hybrid vehicles only. This vehicle is expected to be powered with three different electric engines, out of which two will be coming with the front wheel drive kind of mechanism, while the other one is speculated to be paired with a V6 petrol engine. On the other hand, the company has apparently skillfully coupled these power plants with an advanced dual-clutch automatic transmission gearbox, which ensures proficient gear shifts at all times.

As the company has displayed this concept version at the New Delhi Auto Expo 2014, some of our trusted sources have managed to get details about its exterior dimensions. This sports car comes with a total length of 4830mm and an overall width of 1895mm, while its height is measured at just 1160mm. This wheelbase of this concept sports car is pretty large with about 2575mm, which is quite good for a two seater vehicle. The company has made use of carbon fibre material that has apparently made this sports car lighter, which will ultimately improve the overall performance. This latest concept from Honda comes with a cutting-edge design in terms of both interiors and exteriors. It comes with LED headlamps, wide honeycomb radiator grille, large windscreen that compliments the aerodynamic stature of the vehicle. The company's portal has some information about the interiors of this sports car that has thrilled the sports car lovers. It has dual tone interiors with velvety black and wine red color scheme. You can notice that, there is an extensive use of leather and velvet material used inside the cabin that gives a state-of-art design to the insides. The interior pictures of this vehicle reveal that the vehicle comes equipped with an advanced infotainment system, stylish cockpit with a sophisticated central console, elegantly designed instrument cluster and more. The steering wheel comes with three spokes and it is wrapped in rich leather upholstery. The overall look of the cabin is complimented by the chrome inserts that are given on door handles, central console and on the AC vents as well. The company has not disclosed about the official launch date or regarding the commencement of production for this sports car concept vehicle, which has started to increase the curiosity among buyers.
