I think I chose the best car for me and my family. Looks good but overall price of this car is very less in this time. Tata motors is a good company. So we blindly trust the safety features of this car. Also Mileage is overall amazing in the price range. So a middle class family can happily or easily buy it.

Looks good, sturdy and stylish. When I was in my school {2015} I used to go school with this vehicle. This car is very spacious, its good as a passanger vehicle. Infact now also if anyone has this car it's not bad and old styled, it's good now too. I wish I had this car it's very cheap & best look, I Like very much.

First of all Tata Sumo is very good looking, stylish and comfortable to drive car. Engine power is also very good for the hilly area, basically, my car (tata sumo) is running Mizoram to Assam daily, so is very low maintenance I can provide a very good service to the passenger, passengers are also very much happy to travel by my tata sumo. Am also happy to be an owner of Tata sumo gold.

Tata Sumo is a very nice car with good looks, comfort and good ground clearance, its worth to purchase. 

Sumo has been the old workhorse from Tata's stable and still going great especially in the rural regions. The most striking part of this car is its affordability. For a large family on a tight budget, this car makes a decent case for itself. At Rs. 7.46 lakhs, you will hardly find any 8-9 seater in the market matching its economics. Though the exteriors aren't much stylish and contemporary, it does well for the rural setup. However, interiors do have features such as dual AC, power windows, power steering and updated music system with USB and Bluetooth support which can be used for handsfree telephony as well. The car behaves well on road undulations and can absorb bumps quite well. But despite all this, one thing which can make or break the deal is the safety aspects. Though it is being mainly targeted at rural areas, the amount of road accidents we see in these regions is beyond the statement. Looking at the fact, it should at least have given ABS and EBD if dual airbags are not possible. You only get central locking, front fog lamps, seat belt and door ajar warning, side intrusion beam and rear high mount stop lamp. Honestly, these features are just basic and cannot be considered as safe in times of mishap. So, Tata needs to update this car looking at the latest safety regulations in mind.

My father purchased the Sumo Gold 4 years back and I must say it has proved to be the most reliable workhorse for ferrying people around. I have a large family and I live in outskirts. So my father wanted a car for carrying 7-8 people in the vicinity and that too in the price range of Rs. 7 lakhs. When I first heard that Tata has launched a powerful version of the Sumo SUV, I searched about it and asked some of my friends who were more knowledgeable in this field. They suggested me to go for this SUV since it was in our price range and can absorb a whole lot of people. The car looks mediocre but in area in which I am living, people don?t care much about styling and so on. As far as comfort is concerned, the third row is certainly a cramped one and you can?t ask much in SUV like this. Big ground clearance and power steering make my drive convenient. For a large family with budget concern, Tata Sumo could be the best choice.
