- Fun-to-drive: 1-litre TSI engine is fun to push hard and puts a smile on your face.
- Practical. Ample space for four 6-footers. Cabin storage is very well thought out too.
- 446-litre boot space is more than sufficient for 4 cabin-sized trolley bags.
- Enough features: Sunroof, ventilated and powered front seats, 10.1-inch touchscreen.
Tata Punch
- SUV-like design: Looks like a proper mini SUV now, with clear design cues borrowed from bigger Tata models.
- Turbo-petrol engine: One of the most affordable turbo-petrol cars in India, finally giving the Punch strong performance.
- Useful feature upgrades: New 7-inch digital instrument cluster and 360-degree camera add real value.
- Spacious cabin: Comfortably seats four adults with good headroom and legroom for the size.
- Multiple powertrain options: Petrol, turbo-petrol and CNG with AMT make the Punch a versatile choice.

Skoda Kylaq
- No diesel or CNG options available.
- Fuel efficiency isn’t great, particularly in heavy city traffic. Expect 10kmpl at best.
- Minor annoyances: poor camera quality, very light horn, and noisy seat ventilation blowers spoil the experience.
Tata Punch
- Interior feels familiar: Design changes are minimal, and plastic quality is just about average for the segment.
- Touch-based air-conditioning panel: It is overly sensitive to touch and often requires you to take your eyes off the road, which isn’t ideal while driving.
- No turbo-petrol automatic: The missing automatic gearbox with the turbo engine limits its appeal for city buyers.
- Locked fuel efficiency: Our test cars had the minimum fuel efficiency locked at 8 kmpl, which is misleading and not transparent for the users.
