Maruti to maintain growth with Maruti Kizashi in 2011

Maruti Suzuki India, the market leaders in the Indian auto sector has shown exceptional growth in this year, by capturing 50 per cent of the market share. The auto giant is keen on maintaining the growth by introducing range of cars in the Indian auto sector such as Maruti Kizashi and an all new MPV to encash the profitable auto market.

When asked about the company's 100 per cent capacity running in its respective plants and the growth which the company is looking in the next year, Maruti Suzuki's Chairperson R C Bhargava replied that the auto company will be installing additional production capacity which will begin in the second half of 2011. After the commission, the auto giant will be raising its production capacity to 250,000 to 300,000 units in one year which is nearing to almost 25,000 units in a month. He also said that till then the company will keep the work by increasing the production as it was doing earlier. The company is hastening the production for its long awaited car models and it is the initial reason for increasing the production capacity.

He also said that the company discounts are out in the market and have no other difference from what is happening in other months. December has proved to be a better month for sales than November.

The company will close the manufacturing unit for the maintenance, so the wholesale number will decline. The unit will be closed for 8 days which means a loss of about 30,000 to 33,000 cars. So the company expects a less output in December.

Though Mr Bharagava, did not reveal the price hike, he said that there has been no decision of any increase in the prices of its car models.

Rumors are that Maruti has been often criticized about the pre and post sales experience of the customers. But the chair person refused it and said that the complainant is not very serious as the Indian auto czar's strength lies in its wide spread sales and service network. If looking at the reports by JD Power and Associates, Maruti has been positioned numero uno in the after service for 11 continuous years. He very intelligently said that the company is selling 4,000 cars in a day which is a huge number and is bound to receive few odd complain of what customers perceive and it is not up to their standard. He quickly said that even if there are any complain, the company's redressal mechanism is strong.
