Mahindra's Great Escape ends in Gurgaon

The 108th edition of the Mahindra Great Escape, one of India’s most popular off-roading adventures, concluded successfully in Gurgaon with over 40 vehicles from the Mahindra stable manoeuvering the challenging route. The event received an overwhelming response from the off-roading community with Mahindra vehicle owners from Gurgaon, Noida, Delhi and other neighboring areas participating in the rally.

The rally was flagged off at 9:00 AM from Fortune Park Boulevard, Chattarpur. Participants entered the event in Boleros, Scorpios and Thar 4X4s- proving yet again the ruggedness of vehicles from the Mahindra stable. These iconic Mahindra SUVs negotiated the rocky & extremely dry terrain while testing the might of the vehicles.

The Mahindra Great Escape under the Mahindra Adventure umbrella brand continues to live up to its promise of encouraging the off-roading culture and demonstrating the tough & rugged DNA of Mahindra vehicles. Therally also saw participants exhibit their driving skills by negotiating various obstacles and edging out each other in a fierce competition, to be part of the all-India ‘Off-Road Trophy’ championship. Winners from theChandigarh, Sakleshpur, Kottayam, Lonavala, Goa, Chandigarh & Gurgaon Great Escapes will compete against each other for the trophy at the finals.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Vivek Nayer, Chief Marketing Officer, Automotive Sector, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. said, “We were delighted to host this edition of the Mahindra Great Escape in Gurgaon and give a chance to our customers to test the tough and enduring nature of Mahindra vehicles. The challenging terrainensured ample challenges for all off-roading enthusiasts. Over the years, the Great Escape has developed the reputation of being one of India’s most thrilling off-road events and this one was no different as it tested the limits of both man and machine to the extreme”.

This edition of the Mahindra Great Escape was conducted in association with MAXXIS Tyres - the title partner for all the Great Escapes and the Off-Road trophy this year.
