General Motors India has sold 8901 vehicles in the month of February 2012. The February sales comprised of 1964 units of Chevrolet Tavera, 1328 units of Chevrolet Spark, 537 units of Chevrolet Cruze, 273 units of Chevrolet Optra, 90 units of Chevrolet Aveo and 25 units of Chevrolet Captiva. The February sales were driven by the encouraging response received by Chevrolet Beat Diesel, India’s most fuel efficient car. Chevrolet Beat has been one of the top performers for GM India this month registering sales of 4684 units. Commenting on the performance, Mr. P. Balendran, Vice President, General Motors India, said “The sales were not on the expected lines as the market continues to be sluggish.
