BMW 6 Series 2011 launched

BMW 6 Series Convertible has been launched today in India in the midst of loud ovations from the luxury car admirers. The new stunner from the German car maker was launched at The Leela Palace Kempinski, Udaipur. The luxury on wheels, BMW 6 Series Convertible's grandiose entry has stunned the rivals, they have already started feeling the heat of the intense competition. The German marvel car makers have tagged the new bewitching beauty at Rs 95,00,000 lakh. The new BMW 6 Series Convertible will be available in India as a Completely Built-up Unit (CBU) tagged at the same price across all ex-showrooms in India. The ex-showroom price mentioned above is exclusive of sales tax / VAT applicable on sale to the customer.

The all new BMW 6 Series convertible is loaded with a 4.4 litre V8 engine along with BMW Twin Power Turbo Technology. The direct injection is capable of producing a maximum output of 300 kW/407 hp between 5,500 – 6,400 rpm as well as robust torque of 600 Nm all the way from 1,750 to 4,500 rpm. The new baby rolled by the German car maker BMW 6 Series Convertible accelerates to 100 km/h in just 5 seconds with an unmatchable speed of 250 km/hr.

BMW with the new edition is expected to accelerate its sales figures in the domestic luxury car market. The new car from the makers is adorned with luxury features and safety visages which will set a new statement in the luxury cars. Once the petrol version is successful, German auto giant will then come with the diesel version of the same.
