Maruti Swift car latest update
Latest Update: Deliveries of the Maruti Swift have commenced in India. Bookings are open at an introductory price of Rs 11000. We have also explained mid-spec Vxi (O) variant of the Swift in 8 real-life images.
Price: It is priced from Rs 6.49 lakh to Rs 9.65 lakh (introductory ex-showroom pan-India).
Variants: The new Swift is sold in five broad variants: LXi, VXi, VXi (O), ZXi, and ZXi+. Here’s what each variant of the new-gen Swift has to offer. We have also detailed the VXi variant of the Swift in real-life images.
Colours: Maruti is offering the 2024 Swift in six monotone and three dual-tone colour options: Sizzling Red, Luster Blue, Novel Orange, Magma Grey, Splendid Silver, Pearl Arctic White, Sizzling Red with Midnight Black roof, Luster Blue with Midnight Black roof, and Pearl Arctic White with Midnight Black roof. Engine and Transmission: The India-spec new-gen Suzuki Swift is provided with a new 1.2-litre 3-cylinder petrol engine (82 PS/112 Nm). It comes with both 5-speed MT and AMT transmission options. The claimed fuel efficiency figures are as follows:

Features: The new Swift is equipped with features such as a 9-inch touchscreen, a 6-speaker Arkamys audio system, and automatic AC with rear vents. Other equipment on board includes wireless phone charging, cruise control, push-button start/stop, and connected car tech.
Safety: It gets six airbags (as standard), electronic stability programme (ESP), rear parking sensors, rear parking camera, and ISOFIX child seat anchorages.
Rivals: The new-gen Swift’s only direct rival is the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios. The Renault Triber is a 7-seat alternative at the same price point. It can also be regarded as a hatchback alternative to micro-SUVs such as the Hyundai Exter and Tata Punch.

Maruti Swift price starts at ₹ 6.49 Lakh and top model price goes upto ₹ 9.64 Lakh. Swift is offered in 11 variants - the base model of Swift is LXi and the top model Maruti Swift ZXi Plus AMT DT.
