Pros : Aggressive exteriors, class leading and spacious interiors, huge luggage carrying capacity, high per

Cons : Low fuel economy and high price tag.

Look and Style I am a big fan of Toyota Fortuner and recently company had launched a new revamped Fortuner at the Auto Expo 2012. The newly formulated SUV looks more aggressive and more stylish then ever. The chrome grilles at the bonnet and front fascia further enhances the aggressive appearance of the SUV. The newly added stylish features at the front and rear ends of the car makes it look more attractive and appealing. Those who want sporty as well as classy SUV should opt for Fortuner. Comfort The new Fortuner has a more balanced exterior as well as interior. Its roomy and class leading interiors further enhance the beauty of the SUV. The attractive and luxurious SUV accommodates seven adults with so much comfort. High roofline and decently placed legroom and headroom further enhance the charm of the interior of the SUV. Adjustable seats, automatic gearbox and various advanced features also improve the utility of the car. Pickup Toyota Fortuner is known for belting out huge output power and the 4wheel Drive variant of the SUV further improves the pickup of the power. Car accelerates to 100 km per hour mark in just few seconds. Mileage As per company norms car offers a mileage of 7.8 km per liter in city conditions and 11.5 km/l on highways. Best Features High output power and heavy ingredients for safety of the passengers including ABS with EBD and Brake Assist make it a safer vehicle. Needs to improve Mileage of the car needs to be improved. Overall Experience In my opinion the new Fortuner would be the best sports utility vehicle for those who want power as well as class leading experience.

A BIG FAN always writes up only in favour of the car he likes. But I doubt the Fortuner SUV is in par with other SUV's of modern times in comfort and style. Say just one point, modern SUV with automatic tranmission has got six, seven, even more gear shift while the Fortuner still remains with the same old 4 speed which is outdated even two-three years ago. Alas.. What an offer for India.

The new fortuner has 5 gears which is at par with other SUVs.

The suspension of the vehicle needs improvement to make it a better 'on roader' ....only 5% of the time it is used for offroading. There is a huge body roll that needs to be addressed too. Somehow, at high speed it did not give me the confidence of staying on the road. also the interiors need to be a few shades better than the Innova which is half the price. I think if Mitsubishi get the pricing of its Pajero Sport right..... it will give Fortuner a real run for its money.

Completely agreed on this point. For a 20 L vehicle you really expect luxury which fortuner seems lacking. However, it has managed to keep its price competitive by re-using features of Innova in Fortuner. A Pajero costs 24 . The 2012 model has reasonably good features but the rear brake is still an issue.

Wether Inova or Fortuner both are un comparable but it is sincerely advise after using Iinova V Madel for more then 6 years. the Little afford is required to increase 1or 1,5 ench length of rear seats buckets this will give tremendous relax to Thais of the passenger.

This reads like paid news. You should be giving your readers a review of the vehicle, not an advertisement! Apart from reviewing the vehicle, you must also compare it with its competitors. For example, why should I buy a Fortuner for Rs. 22 lakh vis-a-vis a Scorpio for Rs 12 lakh? That is the kind of insight a reader needs. Thank you for letting us know you are a fan of the Fortuner. At least we will take all the positive points that you mention with a pinch of salt. Recently I read about a case of a Fortuner in which the transmission jammed while the person was on the highway. I wonder what happened? This was somewhere in Rajasthan, I think.
