The Skoda Rapid Is similar to its brother Volkswagen vento . as both the cars come from the same group. The Rapid looks Are almost same as the Vento. The Rapid Has Projected HeadLights,but the vento has the dual lights.The Body is very Rigid Unlike the Maruthi Cars . The Suspension is good and is highly suitable for Indian roads. The Skoda provides 1.5 diesel engine with two gearbox options. one is a 5 speed manual and the other is a 7 speed DSG automatic. after a lot of research and test driving other cars finally i have booked the 2016 model rapid. This year model has some extra features like The side mirrors can be closed from the inside . an auto dimming rear view mirror . Automatic rain sensing wipers and headlights . coming to the engine its a 1.5 litre turbo engine produces a power of 105 ps and a torque of 250 NM . even at low gears and at lower rpm u need not to shift the gear. the engine will pull of easily. there is also automatic climatronic available in the higher version. But the 2-Din Disappoints you a lot . No reverse camera,but there are parking sensors there is a lot of boot space around 440 litres PROS: 1.5 TDI Engine,Strong Body,Safety Features Cons: After Sales Problems,High Maintenance Costs, A good Touch Infotainment System.
