Maruti Alto is the most pocket friendly car

When it comes to the first car most Indian families look for a pocket friendly and safe bet. I was quite clear on buying a Maruti vehicle as the customer satisfaction level is huge across all segments. Most of my friends had Maruti cars and Alto as everone knows is the safest buy in the Indian market as of now. I did go for a test drive arranged easily by one of the dealers of Maruti. I loved the drive as it was extremely smooth and effortless for me. I booked the car there and then. I had always loved the pearl color in Alto and thus my choice of color was very obvious. The car got delivered within 15 days of the booking date and we immediately took it to the Ganesh temple for the lord's blessings. Its been 2 years and 30,000 kms by now and my Alto stands equally attractive and smooth even after 2 years of rigorous driving. We have been to outdoor trips like that to Agra, Delhi, Dehradun and Jim Corbett with my car. Alto is a superb car on highways as there are no rattles or vibrations till 120kmph, however a speed beyond that causes vibrations. The gear shift is smooth and very convenient. There is nothing great in terms of the interior finishing of the car but it is a complete value for money car. I quite like the exteriors of the car as the auto maker has afforded to provide descent looks in the minimal of costing. I find the leg room and head room enough of average built 5 adults to be comfortably seated even on long drives. I have been getting an average of approximately 17kmpl in city areas, however I do no use the air conditioner much while in city. Its been 2 years now and I did not witness any major issues with my car. I hope my reviews helps all those who are planning to invest in the Maruti Alto.
