The redesigned 2024 Ford Mustang has several strong points, including powerful engine options, confident handling, a stylish and high-tech interior, and a wealth of standard equipment. High points include a controlled ride, comfortable seats, and significant updates compared to the previous-generation Mustang. However, there are some drawbacks, including the fact that the EcoBoost engine is only available with a 10-speed automatic transmission, some interior materials smudge easily, and the 10-speed auto transmission can be too eager to shift.
