A Must Have Ford Ecosport
A must have crossover, launched in 2012. I own a diesel variant (ambient) since 2013. The car is manufactured at Ford India's Chennai plant, available in four trims with the choice of three different engine options 1.0L EcoBoost, 1.5L Ti-VCT and 1.5L TDCi. The engines are mated with 5-speed manual and 6-speed dual clutch transmission. I personally think, this was a wise move, with an 15.5 KMPL average (city) what else would one want in midst of the inflated fuel charges. Comfort in driving and more than enough leg room for the hind seats. The base variant (ambient) comes with additional features like side mirror adjustments/Bluetooth sync/aux and mileage trip. The vehicle has been serviced thrice (complete) - no complications faced as yet. Indeed a best choice to make. Awaiting the 2017 new look, with super tempting interiors Top variant comes equipped with a variety of features, including the latest Ford SYNC driver connect system, a unique voice command system co-developed with Microsoft. Advanced climate control and a centrally mounted LCD screen with SYNC controls are also included. Safety features include anti-lock brakes (ABS), electronic stability program (ESP), electric power-assisted steering (EPAS) with Hill Launch Assist and rear parking sensors
