A car which drives well and assures the passenger of true safety

I drove one WagonR for 3 years before getting Punto Evo diesel, emotion in March 2016. It's been close to 1000 km. It's only natural for me to compare Punto with WagonR, which is not fair, though. With WagonR, I used to get tired after driving for 15-20 kms in traffic, but in Punto, I wish I had some more time to drive. Each time I reach my destination, my wife sits in the rear seat along with my 2 yr daughter, they also share the same feelings. I am still trying to figure out the exact cause, but driving in city/highway has been an absolute bliss with Punto Evo, at least until now. Maybe the robust suspension, lively and heavy steering (hydraulic) and perfect cabin insulation. The insulation is so good that you get to hear only the horn sounds and the rhythmic jettison sound which the Fiat engine generates (it's a pleasant sound, though). The noise inside the cabin is really less in a diesel cars standard. The music system is decently good, the blue n me does its job of pampering the driver. You are bound to get that feel of heaviness/robustness while driving. From 3rd / 4th day, I started checking mileage. It's in the range of 16-17 kmpl with AC on all the time, inside the city. It may improve further, though I am OK with this mileage. I had to decide between Baleno, New Figo, Polo n Punto. Maruti Baleno was straight away rejected because of built quality n safety. Figo was a strong contender, but after test driving Polo n Punto, I felt Figo is a class below, though the engine was powerful. Only Polo came close to Punto, but it was close to 1 lac more costly. Hence, I went ahead with Punto with which am satisfied till now. I read in many forums regarding after sales of Fiat, in fact, this was the only deterrent for me to take Fiat. I took a risk and hoping for the best,though till now the experience with Fiat dealership is much better than what I experienced while taking wagonR. I will share my subsequent experience with Punto.
