I bought a red petrol Ford Ecosport trend variant it is better than any other car in the segment. My honest opinion about Ecosport would be: Pros: Premium ownership experience, Highway cruiser, Good drive even on bad Indian ghat roads, Fuel efficiency is around 10 kmpl, don't trust ARAI or Ford declarations, Fun to drive, Robust engine, Peppy, Rev friendly, Looks great, Interior: great fit and finish, Quality overall is great, Good AC and climate control and 10 inch touch screen is responsive and elegant. Cons: Not much although, On speeds above 80 on swingy roads up and down movement is felt, Bad fuel efficiency (10 isn't great for expensive fuel cost in India-try diesel it's better), Still gotta find out about spare parts and maintenance cost, Expensive Ford accessories, Back seat is not ample for 3. Overall: This is my second car, I'm in love with it, My verdict-Compact SUV=Ford EcoSport diesel.
