Engine: The Japanese-spec Raize is powered by a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine mated to a CVT automatic gearbox. It is tuned to produce 98PS and 140Nm.
Interior: This 5-seater sub-4m SUV features an all black interior with red accents in the top-spec variant. The rear seats split fold 60:40 and the middle occupant gets a headrest too.
Features: The Raize is a well equipped offering with features such as a 7-inch digital display in the instrument cluster, a 9-inch freestanding touchscreen infotainment system, auto AC, cruise control, and more.
Safety: Toyota has equipped the Raize with plenty of safety technology such as collision warning, panoramic parking camera, blind-spot monitoring and at least dual front airbags.
Rivals: If Toyota were to introduce the Raize, or a similar sub-4m SUV offering in India, it would compete against the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Ford EcoSport and Mahindra XUV300.
