With its trendy styling and 10 exciting colors, it would definitely turn heads. With unmistakable designing, the makers had taken care of each and every detail weather being on its mechanics, comfort attribute or core. The Tata Nano Special Edition has been introduced with five new accessories that include alloy wheels, a stereo compatible with MP3 featuring USB, AUX and iPod connectivity, two glove boxes on either side of the dash board, festive stickers on the C-pillars and body graphics on either side of the top-of-the-line LX model. The Special Edition Tata Nano is available in CX and LX trims in all colours that the Nano is available in.
Exteriors
This compact design is very beautifully crafted with a double triangle exterior design concept. The car exhibits fine character lines rising up from the powerful dynamic headlamps which define the prominent attribute of the car. The front fascia is defined by captivating premium holds the the shining brand logo of Tata. Large halogen headlamps perfectly merge with the character lines. The wide front plain windshield is complemented with 2-speed washer and wiper. Front bumpers with body color aerokit integrated with fog lamps. The side profile is defined with driver side tip tap black outside rear view mirror. The door handles and side rails complemented with footsteps are an attribute for sporty delight & liveliness of the car. Moving on to the rear part which has stylish combination tail lamps which go well with the hatchback body design. The protruding fenders with extra depth is designed aerodynamically so that it can compete with top notch speeds on highways. Stepping into the car is a delightful experience as the elegant dual tone vinyl theme used for seat upholstery and on door trims make it inviting. The cabin has ample space and support comfortable 4-5 seating capacity. The dashboard gets a medium graphite touch whereas the center fascia is done in ebony black color. 2-spoke steering wheel having digital clock aside enhance the cabin styling. Tata Nano STD SE, being equipped with 624cc , MPFI engine is designed to deliver high power output and impressive fuel efficiency. For an impressive power it comes loaded with 2 cylinder engine , that features programmed fuel injection system . Coupled up with this powertrain, all new Nano 2012, is capable of churning up a maximum power of 37.4bhp at 5500rpm, and thereby delivers a torque of 51Nm at 4000rpm. Talking of the fuel efficiency, this specific power mill with some tweaks; and being equipped with synchromesh 4+1 transmission, possesses a capacity to deliver a mileage of 25kmpl (ARAI tested). This compact hatchback signifies some of lowest emission norms in the industry and hence provides an eco edge. Nano 2012 could accelerate from 0-100Kmpl in just 29.7 seconds and can exceed upto the top speed of 106Kmpl.
Comfort Features
Tata Nano STD SE is made quite spacious and opulence, and it could accommodate 5 person. The Tata Nano STD SE comes equipped with Radial tubeless tyres, center high mount stop lamp, Laminated windshield, and has door lock on driver side. The hatchback comes loaded with booster assisted brakes, front and rear seat belts and has additional body reinforcement. Nano 2012 is embedded intrusion beam which is of integral feature with specific door fitted design. This fresh new generation automatic hatchback is far more better than the original version in regards to handling and riding it. The newly introduced suspension system has independent lower wishbone McPherson Strut with gas filled dampers and anti roll bar on the front part. This front suspension type is complemented with Independent semi- trailing arm with coil spring and gas shock absorber for the rear end. This combination acts as good shock absorber and gives better rides on rough roads.
