NX is undoubtedly a winner in the tough competition. I was looking for an SUV with futuristic design, capacious room, powerful engine, and premium comfort. After having a test drive of NX 300h Luxury, Audi Q5, and BMW X3, I can say that Lexus NX 300h is the only SUV that ticks all the boxes in my checklist. However, it?s a little downrated by car experts. But, after driving it, I don't think if all those ratings are even valid. There are two things that I liked the most about this SUV, first is its seamless automatic transmission and the other is the interiors of NX. Also, the safety features that keep you guarded are appreciable. Apart from all this, NX being an SUV is bigger than other rivals. In the starting days, I faced a bit of difficulty while parking it, but thanks to the Park Assist system for providing me with precise guidance.

Before making the purchase, I have thoroughly researched all the SUVs in the segment. Though, I also liked the Acura and Volvo. But, Lexus NX is beyond the competition. It's the premium feeling of the NX that held my interest. Shifting gears with paddle shifters is engaging and gives a responsive and high-end performance as you change the gear. Also, what influenced me further is its the NVH levels are the lowest in the segment. It means the cabin remains silent even while driving on harsh Indian roads. With its dynamic looks, I think that it's one of the SUVs in India that steals the show.

It is a comfortable car with many advanced features on-board. The seats are supremely comfortable and come with foaming technology that keeps me in position all the time, even on bumpy roads. Also, the dimpled leather with the perforated finish on seats, steering, and gear knob look and feels amazing.

It fills the cabin with natural light and makes it feel airy and I just love this feeling. It makes it look a lot bigger inside even though it is just Okay from the inside. I sit in the second row most of the times and natural light feel is just exceptional. Under thigh support at the back is quite good along with the legroom and knee room. From my experience, the space at back is good for just two as the central tunnel scarps legroom for the middle person.

I am highly impressed by the Lexus NX SPORT styling clues. Especially those that differentiate it from the standard model. On top of my head is the massive front grille with the mesh pattern and jet-black plating. It reminds me of the Lexus RC F and looks super bold and appealing. Even the relatively big aluminum wheels in a two-tone finish look aggressive. I always wanted a statement-making SUV, and the NX does the job perfectly for me.

I use it majorly around the city roads and it's extremely easy to manage. With a host of features, it makes my day shine. From a wireless charging pad to a new intuitive touchpad with haptic feedback for controlling the 10.3-inch infotainment system, it offers me some useful features I look for in a car. Another befitting feature of the NX is that the driver's seat moves back and the steering tilts up for easy entry and once seated they come back to their original positions. That's so cool. For my wife's liking, there is this quirky feature that brings up the handheld vanity mirror - she loves it. My kids are a fan of its single-piece glass roof though.
