Land Rover Discovery Sport 2015-2020 Specifications

I bought Land Rover Discovery Sport HSE 21019 model 6 months back and realized that its driver seat is not comfortable. A drive from Delhi to Amritsar and I had back pain and swelling in the feet. Contacted customer service about the problem and received the response that all the features of the car were explained to you and you even test drove the car so why are you complaining now.

Quite a comfortable vehicle for regular city use. Haven't yet taken it out for rough terrain testing. And thank God about that. For in less than a year since purchasing the vehicle, it has got grounded twice. For mechanical issues. Which one wouldn't expect in a vehicle of this price. Also, on both the occasions, repair involved a long wait for want of ready spares in India. Would not recommend buying this vehicle or even this brand until such time as spares availability and service network improve.

Finally, it was time to replace my 2000 model of the 4runner, which I purchased from my friend. It was the tough decision to make especially because it is not available in the Indian market. The vehicle was an amazing SUV but after searching for nearly a year I make up my mind to purchase Land Rover Discovery Sport, and I am glad I chose that. The vehicle is a pretty interesting deal right from aesthetics to functionality it?s awesome and so far I am fully satisfied with its performance. Land Rover, replaced the aging Freelander 2, with the all-new Discovery Sport which is the first luxury SUV in its segment to feature 5+2 seating layout. The car receives the new face and does not look like typical Land Rover models, it is modern. The front gets twin-slat radiator grille, sweptback headlamps, and massive front bumper. The tail lamp is same as seen in Evoque and features LED treatment. Interiors too are modern with vertical layout, while the new architecture allows 7 passengers to fit in comfortably. The cabin has soothing dual tone theme emphasized by chrome and metallic highlights. The comfort factor is further accentuated with leather-wrapped steering, 8-way electrically adjustable seats and premium floor carpets. The SUV comes with infotainment system supporting Bluetooth, AUX and USB along with a panoramic sunroof, electrically operated front seats and three-zone climate control. Under the hood, Discovery Sport gets 2.0L diesel trim that produces 147bhp or 187bhp depending upon the variant. I chose the powerful one since my requirements were high. So, new Discovery Sport is a car with robustness and everyday practicality and is a sheer attempt to provide the best of both the worlds.
