Kia showcased the Rio hatchback at the Auto Expo 2018. Based on Hyundai-Kia GB platform, it is a premium hatchback that sits in the same segment as the Hyundai Elite i20, Maruti Suzuki Baleno, and the Honda Jazz.
The Rio is powered by a 1.6-litre, in-line 4-cylinder petrol motor that generates 130PS of power and 161Nm of torque and is mated to a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. On the features front, the Rio gets a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, cruise control, manual AC, day/night IRVM and a six-way adjustable driver’s seat, among others. The Rio hatchback could be among the first five cars that the South Korean carmaker plans to launch in India starting 2019.Read More
