Isuzu D-Max has 5 variants from ₹10.19L — the single-cab cargo workhorse, all sharing one rugged 2.5-litre diesel making 78 hp and 176 Nm through a 5-speed manual (the '1.2' and '2.0' in the names are payload ratings, not engine sizes). The split is really body and comfort. CBC HR 2.0 (₹10.19L) is the chassis-cab for operators fitting their own load body. The Flat Deck trims come with a factory cargo bed: Flat Deck HR (₹10.26L) and Flat Deck HR 2.0 (₹10.37L) are the no-frills haulers, while Flat Deck HR AC 1.2 (₹10.78L) and Flat Deck HR AC 2.0 (₹10.88L) add air-conditioning for the driver. Most operators should take the Flat Deck HR AC 2.0 (₹10.88L) — a ready-to-work deck, cabin air-con and the higher payload rating; the ₹51K for air-conditioning pays for itself in driver comfort on long hauls, while body-builders are better off with the bare CBC chassis-cab.

One of the Best Pick-up truck in this segment in Asia and Africa. Carry out minor and major normal service recommended by the manufacturer. AND drive half a million Kilometres without touching engine. Suspension is perfect for urban, rural and off roads. The Double cab is very spacious and suitable for long drives.
