30 to 50 lakh segment in India currently lacks a good all round SUV with solid build quality and reliabiliy. Apart from fortuner (which costs upwards of 50 lakh) only car which comes to mind when it comes to reliability is tucson. There is a reason why tucson is a global best seller for hyundai. Yes this car is not particularly fun to drive unlike its rival like jeep compass or tiguan but when it comes to practicality, features and safety it is best in segment. And we all know how reliable Hyundai is. We are using hyundai cars for past 2 decades, had a verna and now creta. Believe me we had negligible cost apart from usual service and ac filter change. Can't say about other manufacturers like Mahindra where our xuv500 strarted breaking apart from 2-3 year onward (literally). So opt for tucson eyes closed if you are searching for an allround capable and reliable SUV in this segment.
