Things We Like
- Looks fantastic, especially considering its segment. The styling does not seem aged, even 5 years after its launch.
- One of the best car in its segment in terms of build quality. Is miles ahead of the the Alto.
- The interiors have a premium feel with good quality of materials and high levels of fit & finish.
Things We Don't Like
- Steering does not weigh up well at highway speeds, failing to instill confidence in the driver.

The Hyundai Eon has been discontinued. It used to be sold in five variants - Era+, Era+ Sports Edition, Magna+, Sportz and Magna+(O)(O). The last recorded pricing of the Hyundai EON was between Rs 3.35 lakh and Rs 4.73 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
Hyundai Eon Engine: The Hyundai Eon was powered by a choice of 0.8-litre and a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine. While the former produced 56PS/75Nm, the latter churned out 69PS/94Nm. These engines were mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The claimed mileage of 0.8-litre engine was 21.1kmpl while the 1.0-litre engine delivered 20.3kmpl.
Hyundai Eon Features: The Hyundai Eon was an entry-level and the most affordable model from Hyundai in India positioned just below the new Hyundai Santro before getting discontinued. It offered a driver’s airbag and front fog lamps in the top-spec variant and dual-tone beige with brown upholstery. The Eon offered a graphic fuel gauge, gear shift indicator, power outlet and front power windows on all variants. It also had an audio system with AUX and USB ports while the touchscreen infotainment system was only available on the Sports Edition variant.
Hyundai Eon Rivals: The Hyundai Eon was a rival to the likes of Renault Kwid, Maruti Alto 800 and Datsun redi-GO.
