The Datsun redi-GO Gold Edition comes with stylistic changes inside-out along with additional features, and is based on the 1.0-litre version of the hatchback

The Datsun redi-GO 1.0-litre has borrowed its new engine from the Kwid 1.0-litre, with a similar state of tune!  

It is likely to become the most economical 1.0-litre offering in the country!

The Datsun redi-GO joins the 1.0-litre bandwagon with the Renault Kwid-borrowed petrol motor and AMT transmission

Like the Kwid, only the top two variants of the redi-Go, the T(O) and S, will feature the bigger 1.0-litre engine.

Customers can get theirs booked with a refundable amount of Rs 10,000 at any Nissan and Datsun dealership across India

Datsun has confirmed the 1.0-litre variant of the redi-Go. 

Both carmakers are offering upto 95 per cent finance on their entry-level hatchbacks

Rumours are rife that the redi-GO 1.0 may arrive by next month (July) and the 1.0 AMT before the end of the year.

The limited-edition was supposed to comprise 1,000 units, but 800 more will now be built!

This means that, alongside the 50,000 (approx.) units of the Renault Kwid, 932 units of the Datsun redi-GO are being recalled.
