GO Plus 2018 highlights
Datsun is expected to launch the facelift/mid-life refresh of the GO+ before the upcoming festive season. Datsun recently introduced the GO+ facelift in the Indonesian market in May 2018. The India-spec model is likely to be similar to it, in terms of updated styling and features list (More on this here). Mechanically, the Datsun GO Plus 2018 will carry forward the same 1.2-litre 3-cylinder petrol engine from the outgoing pre-facelift model which puts out 68PS and 104Nm. It will be mated to a standard 5-speed manual. There’s no official info about the availability of an automatic option, unlike the Indonesia-sec GO+ that offers an optional CVT. Prices of the updated 2018 GO Plus are likely to remain largely similar to the outgoing model (Rs 3.91 - 5.19 ex-Delhi). Cars like Maruti Suzuki WagonR, Celerio, Tata Tiago and the upcoming Renault Kwid-based MPV are priced in the same vicinity.
