How is the performance of Nissan Evalia?

Nissan Evalia is an MPV and its USP is that it is a people’s carrier. The Evalia derives it power from proven and potent Nissan’s 1.5-litre dCi aka K9K engine capable of churning out maximum power output of 85bhp with a peak torque of 200Nm. Surprisingly, the big Evalia managed to offer such higher torque just because of its B-platform and monocoque design which make it quite light. The car weighs only 1426kg, which makes it 250kg lighter than the Innova and that’s why Evalia managed to crank out peak torque of 200Nm which is exactly the same as Innova’s, while Innova has a 2.5-litre engine. The car performs quite well even on low RPMs, which makes it a perfect urban drive. The car does well even on higher RPMs and it does surprisingly good over 1750rpm as well. The 1.5-litre dCi engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and gear ratio has also been kept balanced. On the whole, the car does well and its smaller engine capacity has been managed by keeping its weight low, which results a decent power to weight ratio, which is the key of its performance.     Nissan
