Mercedes-Benz GLE Class can break the 100 km/h barrier from a standstill in 7.1 and 8.6 seconds for its 350d and 250d variants respectively. This is due to the reduced weight of the newly developed 9-speed 9G TRONIC automatic gearbox mated to both the engines, in comparison with its predecessor.
