How is the performance of Ford Figo 2015-2019?

Ford Figo is one of the finest hatchbacks available in the country. The car is available in both petrol and diesel trims.  The petrol versions of car features a 1.2-liter Duratec petrol, while the diesel variants come equipped with a 1.4-liter TDCi Duratorq engine. Starting with the diesel engine, it is the same engine, which also does duty in Ford Fiesta and Classic. The engine has been refined for the Indian conditions and best suited for the city traffic, because the low and mid ranges are quite strong and car performs well. However, when you push the accelerator further the car becomes vocal. The diesel powertrain cranks out 68bhp, which is enough for a hatch. Ford   On the other hand, the 1.2-litre petrol engine is also same as the Fiesta’s engine, but it has been scaled down to get fitted in this hatch. The petrol engine also performs same as the diesel engine; the mid and low ranges are quite strong but when the RPM passes 5000 mark it starts to feel strained. The engine churns out a peak power of 70bhp, which is quite well but peak torque of 102Nm is not that impressive. Both the engines come mated to a 5-speed manual transmission, the gear shift is quite smooth and there is almost no to a little gear leg. The car is one of the most spacious hatches available in the country and being a Ford car it has all the bells and whistles according to its segment.
