Datsun GO " Datsun updated the Go hatchback in India in October 2018. As part of the update, the facelifted Go gets some minor changes on the outside as well as inside, but remains mechanically untouched."
Datsun GO " Most of the changes made to the new Go hatchback are concentrated at the front. These include a wider grille and a new bumper that looks slightly more aggressive than the one seen on the pre-facelift version."
Datsun GO No sheet metal changes have been made to the Go hatchback. As a result, it continues to come with a plain side profile.
Datsun GO " The Go facelift measures 3,788mm in length, 1,636mm in width and 1,507mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 2,450mm and a ground clearance of 180mm. The car’s kerb weight ranges from 819kg to 846kg, depending on the variants."
Datsun GO " The rear bumper is also an all-new unit which comes with some more pronounced creases around the outer edge. This design element helps in enhancing the car’s visual width, thus improving its road presence."
Datsun GO The build quality on offer in the Datsun Go is fairly basic. Panel gaps on the outside aren't consistent either.
Datsun GO The B-pillar is blacked out on all variants of the Datsun Go hatchback. Also pictured here are the flared wheel arches that make the car look larger than it actually is.
Datsun GO " Pictured here are the bulges on the bonnet that extend down onto the front bumper to eventually end near the grille’s border. There are no fog lamps on offer, though the top-spec T(O) trim comes with vertically stacked LED daytime running lights (DRLs) placed near the fog lamp area."
Datsun GO " The rear wiper and washer is available only on the top-spec T(O) trim level. There is no rear defogger on offer on any variant in the Go hatchback lineup."

Datsun GO " The wide hexagonal grille gets a chrome outline on the T and T(O) variants. Lower trims come with a silver painted outline instead. The Datsun logo is placed in the centre of the grille. Also visible here is the cover for the tow hook."
Datsun GO " Only the top-spec T(O) variant gets these 14-inch diamond cut alloy wheels that are wrapped in 165/70 section tyres. All lower variants get similarly sized tyres on steel rims, though the T trim gets additional dual-tone full wheel covers."
Datsun GO The ORVMs are body coloured on the A(O), T and T(O) variants. However, they donâ??t come with integrated turn indicators, which are a common sight on modern day cars. Instead, the turn indicators are located on the front fenders.
Datsun GO " Outside door handles are body coloured in the T and T(O) variants, while lower trims get black plastic handles instead. The Go hatchback comes with flap-type door handles that look rather old school."
Datsun GO A long radio antenna is located on the front section of the roof. In our opinion, a stubbier unit would have looked better."

Datsun GO " The updated model features a new headlight cluster with rearranged components. There are quite a few chrome inserts inside the assembly. Illumination is taken care of by conventional halogen bulbs."
Datsun GO " The tail light cluster on each side includes a stop lamp, a parking light, a turn indicator, and a reversing lamp. Also visible here is the key hole for the boot, which does look slightly out of place."

Datsun GO " The Datsun Go follows an all-black theme inside the cabin. There are some piano black, silver and faux carbon fibre trims thrown around for added detailing. The overall look and feel of the dashboard is surely a notch above as compared to the pre-facelift model."
Steering Wheel
Datsun GO " The three-spoke steering wheel is aptly sized and feels good to hold. It also comes with small thumb contours, though they aren’t of much use due to the small size. The horn pad extends to the corner of the spokes, which negates the need to extend your thumb to reach it. The silver insert located on the lower edge of the horn pad is available on A(O), T and T(O) variants."
Center Console
Datsun GO " The Datsun Go is available only with a single engine option. This 1.2-litre, three-cylinder petrol engine is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The gear lever is located just below the AC console and thus juts out from the dashboard itself, rather than being placed on the cabin’s floor. This is a very ergonomic position as the driver can easily reach the gear lever. Also pictured here is the faux carbon fibre panel on the console from which the gear lever juts out."

Datsun GO Both front and rear seats come with integrated headrests. All variants of the Go hatchback get fabric seats. There is ample space on offer for both front and rear seat occupants.
Datsun GO " The facelifted Datsun Go comes with a 7.0-inch capacitive touchscreen infotainment system on the T and T(O) variants. It supports Google Map navigation, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and voice recognition. The head unit is attached to a 2-speaker sound system and supports USB, AUX-in and Bluetooth connectivity."

Datsun GO The range-topping T and T(O) trim benefit from a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen system with first in-segment Android Auro and Apple CarPlay. It also comes with Google Map Navigation, voice recognition, USB, AUX-in, and Bluetooth connectivity.
Datsun GO The 2018 Go hatchback gets a sufficiently big glove box. There is no cooling functionality on offer though.
Air-Conditioning
Datsun GO A manual air conditioning system is available on the A(O) and above variants of the Datsun Go. The circular AC vents on the side get a silver bezel on the T and T(O) trim levels. The vents can be completely shut, but some cold air still leaks through.
Controls and Buttons (2)
Datsun GO " Front power windows are standard on all variants of the Datsun Go, while the rear power windows are on offer on A(O), T and T(O) variants. More faux carbon fibre inserts can be seen here on the door pads. The inside door handles seen here get a silver finish on the T and T(O) trims."
Datsun GO " There is ample space in the footwell, though the brake and clutch levers are placed a bit too close and can thus take a while to get used to. There’s no dead pedal on offer in any variant."

Datsun GO " Datsun has made dual front airbags (driver and passenger) a standard safety feature for the Go hatchback, along with anti-lock braking system (ABS), electronic brake force distribution (EBD), and Brake Assist (BA)."
