Toyota Kirloskar Motor Marks 4% Domestic Growth

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) India recorded a modest 4% growth in the domestic market last month. The sales numbers were 12,552 units in September 2014 compared to 12,015 units same time last year. When it comes to export, the Japanese major exported 1,500 units of Etios twins.

Mr. N Raja, Director and Senior Vice - President, Sales and Marketing, Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) India commented on the market sentiments and expected sales as the festive season is here, “We have registered growth this month. The industry is beginning to gradually turnaround. Positive market sentiments combined with the festive season is expected to boost sales in the coming months as well.”

Toyota recently revived the Corolla sedan in India and it has certainly revved-up diminutive sales of its predecessor. Moreover, Etios Cross has also spruced up the sales in the Etios Liva range. Recently, Toyota has also introduced Innova's limited edition. The limited edition comes with several refreshes starting with the exteriors, the vehicle gets a new brown shade which Toyota calls 'Bronze Mica Metallic', MPV also sports stylish body graphic and chrome highlighters on head and taillamps.

On the Inside, Innova limited edition features a touchscreen infotainment system that comes equipped with host of connectivity options, namely, Bluetooth (phone integration and audio streaming), USB, Aux-in, DVD, CD playback. The seats and door trims are upholstered in contrasting dual-tone color, compared to exterior Bronze Mica Metallic. On the safety front, limited edition features a driver side airbag along with ABS. The limited edition is priced at Rs 12,90,947 to Rs. 13,00,710 (Ex showroom New Delhi) and is available from September till November.
