Innova and Corolla getting costlier

In a recent move it has come to the notice that Toyota Kirloskar Motor has decided to increase the prices of its model Toyota Innova and Toyota Corolla Altis. Models of Toyota Corolla Altis are getting costlier by Rs.16,000 and another Rs.25,000. While the car variant type that is Multi Utility Vehicle (MUV) is experiencing a rise in price between the range of Rs.10,000 to Rs.25,000. According to some of the officials of the company such attempts made from company side will going to reduce the burden from th head of its customers. Some increament in the prices was also made earlier. According to deputy managing director of the company Mr. Sandeep Singh, the increment in the prices has been made because of the uncontrolled circumstances been created in front of the company. Some of these uncontrolled circumstances include increase in the rupee, dollar exchange value rate by 20 percent, all that in just last three months. The prices of the vehicles are been increased just because of that. Even after noticing a CENVAT reduction by the central government the present reuction in the prices can not be noticed. Increasing the prices of models will not going to be a negative aspect for the company as company officials are actively promoting these two models and is expecting that they will be able to get their shares back with in a shost span of time.
