Audi Tease its A9 Concept; To be Revealed at Los Angeles Auto Show
Paris Motor Show is still few days away and yet the Ingolstadt based car manufacturer, Audi has teased an image of its upcoming model to be revealed at the next month’s Los Angeles Auto Show. As per the media reports, the new Audi concept will preview its flagship A9 sedan.

The new car is expected to be build on the same MLB Evo platform, which also does duty in next generation Audi A8. More details on the concept version are yet to come but it is expected that the car would measure over 5 meters in length. The concept model is designed at Audi's styling center in Ingolstadt under the direction of the company's chief designer Marc Lichte who recently joined the office in February.
Speaking on the concept, Lichte said, “Audi here is placing the accent even more firmly on the sporting dimension, something that will characterise the whole upcoming generation of cars.” He also revealed that “the new models will be immediately recognisable as Audi’s, starting with the signature single frame grille which will, however, also represent a major step forward in terms of sportiness”.
The concept model is speculated to make its way into production version by 2017 with the A9 badge and is also expected to be followed by its sports derivative S9 with 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine at its heart. With this engine the car will generate maximum output of 600bhp. The Audi concept teased here will be unveiled on November 18 during the first press day of the Los Angeles Auto Show.
